Song Of The Week

My favorite song of the week is "We Still Believe" sung by The Pentecostals of Alexandria, written by Kathryn Scott. You will LOVE it! I predict that this song will become a VERY popular choir song in 2011/2012.

I guess I left you hanging last week--who is my favorite singer? Ha!:)) Actually I have FAVORITE categorized into vocal quality, anointing, stage presence...hey I guess that means I get 3 more favorites! :)) Oh wait then there is favorite choir, group, band...well we shall keep these posts going!

Song of The Week

Hi Everyone! I hope your weekend has been good for ya! Some blogs I follow set aside a certain day of the week to blog about one theme such as food or photography. I am going to jump on the ban wagon and have a "Song of the Week" theme. This week will be "Break Through" by Shara McKee. Our chorale is working on this song and I do appreciate the words.

Shara McKee has been #2 of my two FAVORITE singers for a long, long time. I have followed her music since she produced the "Rain On Us" cd years ago! I love her "East to West" song. So who is my #1 favorite singer? You will have to find out next week... :))

Where Were You On 9/11?

I was having lunch at TGI Friday's in Campinas, Brazil. We were hosting the Kelly Nix family who at the time was living in Northern Brazil and had come to our region to preach some meetings. We were enjoying our American meal together when somebody noticed a disturbing tv report (there were tvs in the restaurant). We saw images of planes crashing into the Twin Towers in NYC. We thought the Brasilian tv station was showing a movie or something. When we got home, my mom logged onto USAToday.com and read that sure enough, American had come under attack. In 2005, we were able to travel to NYC to see Ground Zero. "We will never forget!"

So--where were you on September 11, 2001? Everyone has a story but this one here is s definite tear-jerker:

If you want to hear more stories log on to USAToday.com. You can even submit your own story! God Bless America and all those who have sacrificed for this great country. Don't forget to vote!!!
