Snow Storms, Old Pictures, and Bellevue

Happy January, Everyone! It is the best month of the year as it is my birthday month! The 31st is my very special day. I am so excited for my birthday! :))

This January has been quite eventful. We kicked off the month with consecration week at church...a good way to start 2012. Weeks 2-3 were characterized by bad weather--a snow storm included. This week has been fun. On Sunday Alana and I went to Bellevue to do the music for the Kern's church. We had a great time and found the people to be so responsive...

Since January is my birthday month, I went through some old pictures. Here are mom and dad with little me 25 years ago on Vandenburg Air Force Base :))

Me and Macy took this picture together just a few weeks ago. So glad to see my little friend full of energy again!

Last week we had a huge snow storm. We were fortunate to only lose power for 1 day but many people were without power for 3-4 days. Here is a picture of the living room by candlelight

That's all for today. If you would like to have fun in the snow, come see us in Washington! :))

Winter Heritage 2011

Winter Heritage went by like a flash. It was a great conference with good preaching and worship. I enjoyed all of the services and enjoyed seeing so many of my good Texas friends! :))
