Nacogdoches Update

Hey Everyone!

Yes I am updating my blog--finally!:)) I have some pictures to post but I didn't bring my camera with me to Starbucks. So I will post some pictures soon. We had an incredible weekend. Last night we got to the church for choir practice and the lights were all out. The electricity had gone out in the neighborhood. Yes I still held a practice! :))In the dark. Brother Crosswhite brought out a flashlight and let me use his ipad with a keyboard thingy on it. We found our pitch and practiced hard. By church time the lights still were not on so we all rode over to Brother Cannon's church on the other side of Nacogdoches. Our choir sang and they did sooooo good. We had a good church service. A bunch of us headed over to Wing Stop for some amazing boneless buffalo wings. It was pretty amazing.

We have been busy working and preparing music. We had a little spider scare. I guess they are called wolf spiders. Yes, we were greeted by one last week. So gross. I put on rubber gloves and started spraying Raid like crazy and Alana grabbed a broom and started swinging. We got 2 of the spider's legs. The end of the story is that we got an exterminator to come out right away. HA:)) Please pray that we do not have any mouse or snake problems. I know I will faint.

We are doing well and are enjoying country living. We are so excited to be going to Heritage next month! I hope to see you all there!!!! :))

Moving In

We made it to Texas! I am so excited to be in Nacogdoches. Here are a few pictures of our arrival. One of the cylinders on my car broke so we had to unhitch my uhaul trailer and get a truck. There are a couple pictures of us moving into our little apartment. Oh yes, the bottom picture is of Alana trying goat's milk. I will post again soon...

Travelling To Texas

My parents flew into Washington on Monday and we started our journey to Texas yesterday, Tuesday. We drove hard and even travelled through the night. Now we are stopped in Colorado out in the middle of no where because my poor little Honda started to shake and my check engine light started to blink. I think the car needs a break. So here we are! Thankfully we found a newer hotel with Wi-Fi and clean rooms. Yeay. Here is a little update...

Mom and Dad

Good-Bye Grandpa and Grandma Weber

My last day at work talking on the phone and taking care of the clients. My boss got me those beautiful flowers you see on my desk--so nice! Okay at the end of this post is a video of me catching fish for a customer. It was raining so my hair is flat but you will see how nice I am with customers who can't make up their minds which fish they want for their ponds! :)) Charity. My boss's daughter, my friend, and my photographer for the pictures you see in this post. A display table I got to decorate for the store. My sister and I went to Target and found this shirt with Brasil written across the front. Brasil is even spelled correctly! Wow. This certification here was a surprise. I took a Crisis and First Responder's class with Liberty University and recieved this certificate as well as a 1 year membership to the American Association of Christian Counselors. I have what I need to respond to a crisis situation or trauma scene I guess.
