January & More

January is the best month of the year! Just 2 more days until my birthday--I love my birthday! :)) I have celebrated my birthday in so many different places including Brazil, Texas, Washington, Nevada, Louisiana, and of course, Lompoc, California! So let me see here...

California Birthdays: Always included a special visit from Grandma and Grandpa Weber
Louisiana Birthday: Fuel pump went out on truck just as we took off to a creol-style restaurant
Nevada Birthday: A special church gave me a birthday offering!
Texas Birthdays: Surprise party with my TBC friends.
Washington Birthday: P.F. Changs with my cousins
Brazil: Churrascaria dinner
Missouri: That's this year, folks. We will be in Saint Louis so I'm thinking a tour of the arch and maybe P.F. Changs or the Cheesecake Factory. I can't wait!:)) I am so glad to be with my family for my 24th birthday!

In other news, I started back with Liberty University Online on the 17th. I am in my final semester with this wonderful school and it looks like it will be a GREAT semester! I A+ my quizzes this week!!!! I have Old Testement Survey, Crisis Counseling 302, Theology 104 (a mandatory class I put off until now) and Statistics. I have submitted my graduation application and come May, I will have my Associates and can move on to what I really want to study! :)) I am going into nursing school. Thank God I finally decided!

Let me see, we are parked at a church outside of St. Louis. The pastor came by to welcome us.... so...hopefully we will have some good church tomorrow! Alana and I are going back to Washington next week. It will be so sad to leave my folks again. We will just look forward to this summer!

Happy rest of January, folks! :)) Before I conclude, I would like to send a special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Brazilian friend named, Hissae. Feliz Anniversario um pouco atrazado, Hissae! Espero que voce tenha um otimo final de Janeiro!:))
Okay before I end this post, I will just add a couple of Brazil videos. One night my sister and I went to our local Wal-Mart and filmed things in the store. HA!:)) Wal-Marts in Brazil are NOTHING like American Wal-Marts, let me tell you!

I came across this video I took during the formative days of our church right after my dad took over. Here we go.......

Iowa

Last night we had a great service with Pastor and Sister George. They pastor a wonderful congregation in Anamosa, Iowa. We met them on our first deputation and so we had been excited to have service with them again, 10 years later on deputation #3! They treated us so kindly. We love the church at Anamosa and the Georges!
Their Beautiful Church Building Right On The Highway!
Sister George And I--She is so sweet!

Alana and I spent the night with their daughters Sophie and Savannah who are twins. This is us with Savannah posing by Sophie's remarkable fan from New Orleans! Ha:))

Us with Sophie.

The Georges have 5 daughters. This is my beautiful friend Ruby, who is daughter #3. We became friends on our first deputation and emailed back and forth for years! It was so nice to see her again and catch up!

Nice boys posing by our banner, "Missions, a Race With The Clock" This picture was actually taken before our Sunday AM service with Bro. and Sis. Streeter. The Streeters were such a blessing to us. Their son is holding the Peranha.

Back to Sunday PM in Anamosa. More kids! This is our display table they are posing in front of.

I really liked this pulpit made of dark glass.

Our very moving missions presentation :))
Thank you Iowa for being such a missions-minded district! Because of you, we will be able to return to Brazil much sooner!

Our Mission's Presentation

This is our official deputation presentation composed by my sister. This is a true masterpiece well worth your time viewing...

News From Brazil

The leaders my dad left in charge of our church in Brazil are doing a fabulous job so far. My dad is able to talk with his assistant and secretary once a week via our Vontage phone. Their last report was that Egom, a young man who has been receiving the Search For Truth home Bible study, was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost last weekend. Thank you, Jesus! To all our supporters who are reading this: your faithful support is continuing to bear fruit! I spent the evening revamping our newsletter. What do you think? :))
Egom Baptized in Jesus Name!

Meanwhile, our youth are working hard at their fundraisers to be able to attend Bro. Lambeth's youth conference in April. They are doing a great job! Enclosed is a little clip advertising Bro. Lambeth's conference.
I just published a post including our missions presentation seen around the USA. Take a look--I believe you will be moved.

Wisconsin Continued

Bella helping me sweep the back of the truck

We are currently holding services in Minnesota and Iowa and yes, it is very cold--16 degrees outside with lots of snow and wind. Tonight it is expected to get down to 3 degrees. It feels as cold as the above picture looks. I will take pictures and report on our adventures through these districts very soon!
Here is another picture I snapped in Wisconsin. Two people were baptized in Jesus name after our Sunday morning service. Here is a visitor seeking the Lord in the altar.

Mississippi

I found wi-fi again! I am at the Benton Public Library in Illinois. We are in the cornfields, folks! :)) We left Jackson, Mississippi yesterday. I had SUCH a good time in Jackson! We preached for the Bryants in Canton, had a fabulous time and great services, and of course stopped by Sis. Bryant's boutique.

We parked our trailer at the Mississippi district campgrounds and met the sweetest lady named Sister Davis. She gave us a $100 gift card to Dillards just because. So sweet!!! She works in the district offices.
I love Mississippi!
